Calicut University Regional Centre, Perambra, is a multidisciplinary centre established in 2021 as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of Calicut University, located in Nochad Panchayat, Kozhikode district. The centre offers MCA, MSc Computer Science, and BCA Honours programmes in the Department of Computer Science, while the Department of Social Work enriches the academic landscape with MSW and BSW Honours.
The Centre provides an unparalleled opportunity for students passionate about technology and societal impact. In the Department of Computer Science, students gain access to cutting-edge learning in a rapidly evolving field. Though still in its nascent stage, the institution is hosting a wide range of diverse programmes, steadily paving the way toward becoming a centre of excellence. Born from a vision to bring quality education to students in the northern reaches of Kozhikode and the nearby Wayanad district, the centre is a symbol of opportunity and progress. In an inspiring act of collaboration, the local residents and Panchayat came together to donate 5 acres of land for the establishment of the campus. This extraordinary contribution sets a shining example of community-driven support for the advancement of education.
